Upon returning to Winnipeg, Deane started what became a 17 year career selling Real Estate for Royal LePage. Deane and Don moved to Victoria in 2004 and enjoyed West Coast retirement until Pulmonary Fibrosis necessitated a return to Winnipeg to be closer to family. They lived at Sturgeon Creek II until her passing. Cremation has taken place with a private, immediate family interment. • I wish I could be with you all I during the celebration of your moms life. We will never forget what a wonderful and patient lady she was with us when purchasing our first home as a newly married couple 25 years ago. She saw that house and told us it was for us, and it was, it was the best home ever. Always kind, caring and concerned for others, she will be greatly missed. • I would like to express my greatest sympathies to the family. I have been very fortunate to have found a dear friend, Dawn, who is so kind, generous, thoughtful and giving. I know this was a result of her close relationship to her mother Deane and her dad. Deane should be very proud of her girls, Debbie and Dawn. They are wonderful and have caring loving families and friends. Brett, Brittney and Tristan are so kind and strong you will be able to count on them for love and support. Your mom will be greatly missed, she was so wonderful person with a successful career. Thinking of you during these difficult times. Hugs and Kisses, Aline - Posted by: Aline Bassett (Friend of the family) on: Mar 19, 2016
