Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL FLORENCE MCVICAR February 3, 1920 - March 11, 2016 Muriel McVicar, aged 96, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2016 at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. Muriel was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Warren McVicar; her parents, Bill and Lil Davenport, long-time residents of Marchand, and her younger sister Doreen Davenport. She will be missed by her great-grandchildren, Tori, Alia, Anna, Layla, Aidan, Connor and Colby; her grandsons, and granddaughters-in-law, Karl and Candi Houston, Ryan Houston, Scott and Kris McVicar, and Dale and Cathy McVicar; her daughter Doreen and husband Roy Houston, and her son Grant and wife Sheila McVicar. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at the Steinbach Legion Hall, 294 Lumber Ave., Steinbach, MB, followed by a light luncheon for family and friends at the Legion. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may choose to make donations in her memory to the charity of their own choice.
