Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • John and I send our heartfelt condolences to your family. The last time we saw your dear Mom was at the Trojanowski's family reunion in Ladywood, Manitoba. I fondly remember the laughter and antics as I tried to take a group photo of all the sisters and brothers at Uncle Julian's farm. We hope the many stories and happy memories shared by family and friends will help to ease the pain of your loss. - Posted by: Barbara and John Bond (nee Chapryk) descendant of Trojanowski, Grocholski (cousin) on: Mar 22, 2016

  • Wanda will always be remembered as a giving person who was a great Grandmother to the boys. Take Care - Posted by: Randy Skyba () on: Mar 21, 2016

  • Uncle Norm, we are so sorry to learn that Aunt Wanda has died. Our thoughts are with you and your family. - Posted by: Brian Turner and Dianna Wreford (Niece) on: Mar 21, 2016

  • My favourite Wanda memory is the day she was teaching the ladies of Lakeshore Heights how make perogies. Everything was going well, I was one of the tasters, until Suzanne showed up at the door with a bloody nose, having fallen on an unfinished. At this point your Boxer, Daisy I believe, decided that she would escape out the open door. That ended the taste testing for about an hour as a couple of us took off after the dog. The boxer was found and Suzanne had two black eyes for her birthday the next day. One of the many happy memories from the cottage. • I send my deepest condolences to you all. I will never forget our Christmases at Glengarry Drive or the outings out at the cottage. Colleen, Karen, and Shelley were more like sisters to me than cousins. Aunt Wanda is in the arms of her family, til we meet again, Gail. - Posted by: Gail Gering (Trojanoski) (Niece) on: Mar 20, 2016

  • Shelley, I was very sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I hope she went peacefully and that you and all your family members all got to have one of those long goodbyes. I am sorry I am unable to attend the funeral but I will be part of the donation to one of the charities listed. - Posted by: Joan Boone (Friend of Shelley) on: Mar 20, 2016

  • Condolences to Norm, Colleen, Karen, Shelley and the their families. I have many memories of the lake and Glengary Dr home. I used to park on the street in front of the house to avoid paying for parking at the university then visiting with Wanda on my way home and enjoy a coffee and conversation. I always felt welcome in their home. I don't remember ever seeing Wanda anything but smiling and happy and can hear her laughter as this is written. She will be missed. All our best. • Aunt Wanda has a wonderful and strong legacy for us to share. In her early life on the Steve and Victoria Trojanowski homestead north of Beausejour she was one of a relatively small number of pioneers that helped to bring our Canadian prairies to life. Her ethic for hard working and joy for living was passed on to her family and and all that she shared life with. Although we always lived at a goodly distance from her and her family, we thoroughly enjoyed our times shared with her and her family. Aunt Wanda was a unique and special woman to us and to so many others. We will miss her, but are accepting that her long endured physical pains have now ceased. Warmest condolences for the family to live in the best memories of her living and her life. ARvid and Berni - Posted by: Arvid and Bernice Hardin and Family (Nephew) on: Mar 19, 2016
