Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN STELMACK January 17, 1947 - March 16, 2016 Peacefully on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, John passed away at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB. He is lovingly remembered by his son Mike, daughter Karen, brothers: Bill (Sonia), Danny (Doris), sister Linda (Irwin), numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. John was predeceased by his parents Mike and Mary; and his wife of 40 years, Jeannette. Our Dad was a kind and loving person who would help anyone in need. He spent his life working as a carpenter and enjoyed doing projects for friends and family. John enjoyed gardening, and in the summer, you could always find him in the yard. He had a very charismatic personality that made everyone want to be around him. His sense of humour never faded, even when he wasn't feeling his best. The family would like to thank the staff at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, medicine ward, for their incredible care, as well as Dr. Reimer, Dr. Saranchuk and Dr. Amadeo. We would also like to thank our family members and friends for their support through our Dad's illness. He had many great friends that were near and dear to his heart. In following with our dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. An interment of our parents' ashes is planned for May in the Marchand Cemetery, Marchand, MB, further details to follow. Family and close friends are invited to attend. Donations can be made in our father's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. Rest in peace Dad you will be missed.
