  • We have many great memories of Lorraine , she had such a wonderful sense of humour. One of her many stories is on her wedding day, after their morning service and luncheon they left their reception to go to their hotel downtown only to find that the could not get into their room until 4pm. So they decided to walk around downtown Portage Avenue, and her brand new wedding shoes were Killing her feet. When they arrived near Eaton`s she said to Ernie, she just had to go by a pair of shoes. On the upper levels she found them too expensive, so she ended up in Eaton`s basement rummaging through the bins looking for a bargain. And so she did, but she said I wonder how many brides spend their wedding day chasing around Eaton`s basement. You had to hear this story from Lorraine she had us all in stitches. She was a great gal, and we all thought the world of her. I know she is happily reunited with Ernie , Mark and all her friends and family as she continues to share her humor and love. Our condolence to her dear family. May you have comfort in heartwarming memories of her long life. You were blessed with a wonderful mom! - Posted by: Gilbert and Elsie d`Eschambault (friends) on: Mar 28, 2016
