Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY PATRICK (WASSON) Mary Patrick was born on March 17, 1949, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She passed away on March 17, 2016, at her home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Mary is survived by her son James (Vanessa), daughter Michelle, and grandchildren James (Lee-Anna), Anthony (Hope), Madison, Mackenzie, Montana, Jessica and Jordan; and great-grandchildren Jacob and Ellie. She was predeceased by her mother and father (Hilda and Cecil), sisters Phyllis and Blanche, brother Mackey and husband James. Mary grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and attended St. Patrick's High School. Before her retirement, Mary worked at York University, Balmoral Hall School, Tuxedo Villa and Heritage Lodge. Some of her interests included playing bingo, gardening and baking, and she was constantly thinking of the next craft project she could make. Mary will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Funeral service will be held on March 30, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment and reception will follow.
