JEAN PATRICIA SKORODENSKI On Wednesday, March 23, 2016, in Selkirk, Manitoba, Jean Skorodenski, aged 79 years, passed away. Jean was predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Anna (nee Pihulak), her brother-in-law Robert (Bob) Whitlaw, and nephew Craig Whitlaw. She is survived by her sister Helen Whitlaw and nephew Jamie Whitlaw. Jean was a gifted artist who obtained her Diploma in Art from the University of Manitoba and enjoyed sharing and talking about her beautiful paintings. She enjoyed sharing laughter with family and friends and looked forward to her annual visits to her sister's cottage at Victoria Beach where she spent many an hour picking blueberries and taking photos which inspired many a painting. A private family funeral service will be held. Jean will be laid to rest alongside her parents and beloved uncle John Skorodenski in the All Saints Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB. Special thanks to all the wonderful caregivers at Poseidon, Deer Lodge and Selkirk who were such a comfort to Jean throughout the years.
