TRACY LEE PROBETTS (nee NOVAK) February 7, 1970 - March 30, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our precious Tracy on March 30, at 46 years of age. Tracy will be greatly missed by her loving husband Darren, daughter Payton, pup Dudley, mother Linda, sister Terri (Johnny), nephews Joshua and Noah, in-laws Stan and Nadia, Shannon (Shawn), nephews Ryan (Cayley) and Jordan (Jayme), numerous relatives and an endless number of friends. Tracy was predeceased by her loving father Michael, and her first pup Maguire. Tracy was an accomplished athlete who excelled in gymnastics and later coached both volleyball and gymnastics. She was a self employed Massage Therapist as well as working as an E.A. in the Seven Oaks School Division. Tracy was a dedicated volunteer for Payton's sports teams and in her schools, especially with Ecole Belmont. She also worked alongside Payton with True North Foundations "Project 11". Tracy had a love for the Bombers and especially the Winnipeg Jets and would proudly wear their T-Shirts on game days. Tracy enjoyed many world travels and the family cottage at Nutimik Lake. Tracy's laugh (snort) was infectious and her smile lit up the room. Her personality was a force to be reckoned with and she never backed down from what she believed in. Her love for Darren and Payton was unrivalled. Watching Tracy around family and friends was an inspiration to us all. Tracy, you left your mark and will be sadly missed with family in front of Uncle Sam's bar, and on the sidelines, as the loudest parent at Payton's soccer games! To our friends and family, who were constantly at her side during her fight, thanks cannot express our true feelings of love and appreciation for what you each brought to the battle. We love you all! To the staff of GD6 (Health Sciences Centre) - Our new "family"... Words cannot say enough for all the love and care Tracy received, you are all truly beautiful people! To each of you, and to those who were extra "special", we love you and thank you dearly from the bottom of our hearts! In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Never Alone Foundation at neveralonefoundation.ca, and if you can, please DONATE BLOOD. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. You fought the good fight You ran the hard race You are the bravest warrior We will never forget you! POW, POW, POW! Love You Always!

  • I am so sad and still in shock to hear of Tracy's passing, My heart goes out to her husband, daughter, mother, sister and her adorable pet. Tracy Novak is fondly remembered from my encounters within the community and high school, in the late 80's and early 90's. She (along with her mother, Linda) were members of St. Anthony's Padau Church, and I can recall Tracy helping out with the Church Teas, etc. Tracy was two years older than me and she was in my brother's class (David Claydon) at Garden City Collegiate. She was fun be around with when she assisted the coach (Missy {Purchase} Penner) of the senior girls volleyball team, that I was on. She was admired for her inner and outer beauty, talent and good sportmanship. Fr. Sam Argenziano was our priest at St. Anthony's Padau Church then eventually was transferred to Holy Rosary, I think that's why I never got to see Tracy at St. Anthony's in the last twenty years or so. My mother (Joan Claydon, who passed away from Cancer on August 29, 2014) and Tracy's mother Linda were members of the CWL. POW! POW! POW! I don't know the type of cancer Tracy passed away from, but I can relate to what Tracy went through because I, myself, was diagnosed in 2012 with stage 3 breast cancer with 3 years of treatments and double mastectomy. It continues. Tracy will be forever remembered and never forgotton. May Tracy rest in company with her father (and pet) and rejoice in Paradise where all our tears are wiped away! Jennifer L. • We cannot begin to put into words the sadness we feel for all of Tracy's family. She was a beautiful, loving and courageous young woman. Tracy was taken away from all of you far too soon. Please remember that you were with her every step of the way during her battle and she could not have fought the good fight without the support of you, her family by her side. Cherish and treasure your memories of this wonderful young woman. Linda, Father Sam will light her way to Heaven where her Dad Mike will welcome her with open arms and hold her close. Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy to Tracy's family.
