RANDALL (RANDY) EDWARD ZEKE November 17, 1961 - April 4, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randy Zeke, age 54, on April 4, 2016 at the Arborg & District Hospital with family by his side. He leaves to mourn his four children Lisa (Mark), Curtis, Chasity and Tiffany (Kenneth); his grandchildren Elizabeth, Madison, Kayla, Jazmyne, Axel and Ann-Marie; his parents Ted and Suzanne Zeke; brothers Jim (Sherry), Rick, Mitch, and sister Bonny; along with nieces, nephews and close friends. We would like to send special thanks to the staff at the Arborg & District Hospital for your sincere care of the days leading up to Dad's passing, also to the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, Laura and Vera from the I.E.R.H.A. Palliative Care, all the Homecare Ladies and the numerous doctors that were seen in the past few years. Also thank you to close family and friends for all the support. Thank you to Arnason Funeral Home for all the arrangements for Dad. Cremation has taken place and a service and lunch will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Lundar Legion Hall with Father Paul Tinguely officiating. Service will conclude at the hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Randy's memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Inc., 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. We like to express our condolences to Randy's family on a loss of a father, son, brother and uncle. He will be missed by one and all. We got to know Randy in the year 2000, in The Pas and it was a coincidence we both came from Oak Point. We experienced the same type of occupations in the railway and mechanics. We would reminise about the people from Oak Point and childhood memories. Randy would come over to the house for suppers but most of all get togethers were at our shop. Randy (papa R) was an awesome person really funny and caring, he loved to make us laugh all the time no matter what he did! He treated me like i was one of his own daughters, tiff and I gave him the name papa R we were always together Sitting around having good laughs I miss it ! He was such a down to earth person that's what I loved about him, even though he was in so such pain he never showed it just put a smile on his face !
