ARNI RAYMOND (BUTCH) TAFT Arni Raymond (Butch) Taft (born June 6, 1946) of Glenboro, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, April 4, 2016, with family by his side. Arni is survived by his loving wife Kathie (nee Hall), his sister Bev (Bob) Weinard of Prince George, BC, brother Gerry (Yvonne) Taft of Prince George, sisters-in-law Marnie (Doug) McNiven of Winnipeg, Barb Abrams of Mississauga, ON, Pat (David) Garner of Blue Mountains, ON, and by several nieces, nephews and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents DuWayne and Esther (nee Josephson), brother Donald Taft, parents-in-law Charlie and Norma Jane Hall, and by brother-in-law Larry Abrams. Respecting Arni's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Friends that so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Arni's memory to the Glenboro and Area Foundation, Box 147, Glenboro, MB R0K 0X0, or to a charity of choice.
