RODERICK KAM KIE KHOE 1929 - 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather and husband, Roderick Kam Kie Khoe, on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the age of 86. Rod will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over 54 years, Nancy, his children - son Stephen, daughter Barbara (Terry) with granddaughter Ashley, daughter Patricia (Brett) and numerous relatives who were all special to Rod. Rod was born in 1929 in Jakarta, Indonesia, and was the fifth child out of ten children. Rod came to Canada for his education and graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Manitoba in 1959 earning the Silver Medal for the highest standing in Pharmacy. He started his professional career with Jack Andrews Pharmacy becoming an owner/partner until his retirement in 1995. Rod continued working as a pharmacist until age 75 and enjoyed his retirement years with family and friends. Special thanks to Sandy Lau, Terence Tsoi, Jenny Gooi and Dr. T. Hean Gooi for their support. The family would like to thank Dr. Albak, Dr. Roche, Tenise, the staff at PRIME, the nurses and healthcare aides of Seven Oaks Hospital from 5-U2 and 3-U12. A private family inurnment was held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rod's memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (CDA) or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB).
