Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUSAN LYNETTE HAY (nee LOEWEN) September 23, 1956 - April 2, 2016 Sorrowfully it is announced that Susan L. Hay nee Loewen, passed away on April 2, 2016 at the Victoria Hospital. She was by predeceased by her parents, sister Debbie and mother-in-law. She is survived by her loving husband Doug, stepchildren, Heidi Janzen, Sherry Bosa and Robbie Hay, sisters Nadine and Jayne, brother James (Marge), nieces Megan and Kristin, nephew Harrison, Doug's brothers, Dan, Frank, Phillip and sister Faith Fisher, nieces, nephews, nine grandchildren and many friends. Susan was born and raised in Winkler. After high school she attended Red River Community College and had a long career in medical transcription in Winkler Hospital, Health Sciences Centre and e-health at WRHA. She was very creative in designing and making clothes and in many other handicrafts and blessed with a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Her pet cockatiels had a special place in her heart. Her family would like to thank Dr. Pamela Skrabek and the staff of the Victoria General Hospital and the Buhler Cancer Center for their tender care of Susan. A Celebration of Susan's Life will take place on Sunday, April 10 at 3:00 at the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street in Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Susan can be made to the Winkler Bible Camp, Box 2340, Winkler, R6W 4C1. www.seasonsfunerals.ca
