Alan led a full rich life, a beautiful soul he will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have met him. Predeceased by his wife Sonja; sister Enid; and brothers Kenneth and Mervyn. Alan leaves to mourn his beautiful loving daughter Heather of Winnipeg; his brother Ian of Montreal; and many loving nieces and nephews. All who knew Alan were charmed by his gentle Irish nature - a kind and loving man, he knew the value in life was in the people you touched. A Service in Alan's honour will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6.
