VERNON DUKE 1927 - 2016 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Vern Duke. He leaves his wife of 62 years Audrey, daughter Karen, and son Brian (Kathy), grandchildren Michael (Kathy Downs) and Courtney (Will Gault) and great granddaughter Summer with whom he was smitten. Dad was our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend and hero. Not a day will pass that he won't be in our hearts and thoughts. Dad was predeceased by his parents Charles and Laurel and brother Ron. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Barbara Romano and brother Peter, along with many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. We love you always and forever "Gramps".
