Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYVONNE JOYCE CUTTING July 30, 1940 - April 19, 2016 Suddenly on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Yvonne passed away with family by her side. Yvonne has left to cherish her memory her loving husband of 43 years, Douglas Cutting, and only child, daughter Bonnie and her husband Mike. She also leaves her grandchildren - Mackenzie, Tyler, Taya and Raeleigh who will miss her deeply, as well as her older sister Arleen Sankey, and sister-in-law, Merle Kluczkowski. Yvonne was a proud aunt to Wendy, Wayne, Willa, Ward, Jodi and Sean. She was predeceased by her mom Eva Davison (Burns), dad John Davison, and brother-in-law Chuck Sankey. Mom was very outgoing and would have a hug for everyone she talked to. She grew up in Fort Rouge with her sister and has shared many fond memories of her childhood. She had many happy times sitting around her family dining room table playing cards with family and friends. She met Doug and fell in love at first sight and still talked about his big blue eyes. When Bonnie was born she stayed home and volunteered many hours at the elementary school library. She also enjoyed being a Girl Guide leader. Yvonne loved music and would be often humming and singing out loud. In her later years she loved being a grandma and called often to hear about the kids' days. Yvonne loved her family and friends and would do anything for them. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and concern for Mom and us. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, or a charity of your choice. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Our deepest sympathy to Doug & Bonnie and all their family. Yvonne was a beacon light for her family and when we had the opportunity to meet in Winnipeg, it was always with much joy and great fun. She loved all her grandchildren and was so proud of her Bonnie. Her spirit will be everlasting in the memories and love she has passed on to all of you. Sorry we won't be there in person but certainly will be in spirit. With fondest regards from all our family - Posted by: Victor & Lori Davies (First Cousin - Victor) on: Apr 23, 2016
