Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOLORES IRENE CAROLINE GREEN It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dolores Green, of Winnipeg, on April 13, 2016. Dolores will be remembered for her amazing support and love of family. She was always there with a helping hand. Her home and her yard were a big part of her life. Many compliments were given, as people admired her yard and the beautiful things in it. Dolores' great love of music stemmed from her early childhood, right through until her passing. Dolores had a lifelong dedication to the 12th Manitoba Dragoons (18 Armoured Car Regiment), serving as Secretary/Treasurer for many years. She was also responsible for the planning and construction of the Dragoons Monument in Vimy Ridge Park. Dolores was also a proud member of St. James Legion #4. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ruth Smith; husband Robert A. Green; siblings, Ronald, Robert, Roy and Ruth; and companion George; and soul-mate Grant. She is survived by her sister Charlotte (Gary), brother-in-law Mel and many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. In accordance with Dolores' wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service with Pastor Bruce Martin has been held. Desjardins 204-233-4949 1-888-233-4949 www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca
