MARY LOUISE PATENAUDE (nee TUCKER) June 22, 1938 - April 23, 2016 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother on April 23, 2016. Mary passed away suddenly and peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 77. She is survived by her seven children, Albert (Marie), Douglas (Pam), David (Monique), Susan (Kelly), Patty (Darcy), Michael and Robbie; twelve grandchildren, Guy (Patricia), Daniel (Vanessa), Ken (Jodi), Natalie, Christine, Matthew, Brenden, Kylie, Brayden, Eric, Melanie and Justin; two great-grandchildren, Dimitri and Zach. She also leaves two brothers Jim (Rosella), Bob (Trudy), and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Albert Patenaude (2003), her father Roy Tucker (1985), and her mother Grace Tucker (2003). Mary was born in Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan and grew up in Portage la Prairie. In 1959 she graduated from nursing, got married and started a family. She retired after a lengthy career and has enjoyed retirement since. Mary's passion was her yard and garden. She spent many hours tending to her beloved rose bushes. Interment has taken place. In keeping with Mary's wishes, an informal gathering of family and friends will take place at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street on Wednesday, April 27 between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 0L3 in her memory.
