ADRIENNE LANOUETTE
Date of Passing: Apr 24, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADRIENNE LANOUETTE (née PLAMONDON) April 30, 1923 - April 24, 2016 We are filled with great sadness as we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother Adrienne, surrounded by her family, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Villa Youville in Sainte-Anne, MB. She was predeceased by her husband, Jean-Paul, in 1999, her parents, Jules and Eliza Plamondon, and 10 siblings, including her twin, Germaine. Many fond memories are cherished by her five children, Deanna Marriott (Gary), Mark (Gisèle), Luc (Denise), Lucie Laurin (Gilbert) and Rheal (Jannie), 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, her youngest sister, Alice from Montreal, her brother-in-law, Charles Beaudry, sister-in-law, Juliette Lanouette, and her many nieces and nephews. Adrienne was born at home in St. Front, SK. She married Jean-Paul in 1948 then moved to St. Malo, MB where they owned a general store until 1956. From there, they moved to Richer, MB and remained there until Jean-Paul's passing when she moved to live with her daughter Lucie and family in Sainte-Anne. She worked very hard on the farm with her husband always making sure that her family came first. Mom loved to meet people, talk and have fun. Throughout her life, she had many interests and was involved in the community. She especially loved to square dance with her Paradise friends. She served on many local committees and was very well known. As her family grew she became very involved with her grandchildren. The last five years she resided at Villa Youville battling Parkinsons disease which took away her ability to talk. She was always thankful for visitors and especially the family gatherings most Sundays for coffee and Irish cream. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Duval, Sr. Irene Rioux, Sr. Céline Vermette, Paulette Pylatiuk, and Gisèle Connelly for the excellent Palliative care and comfort they provided during her stay at Villa Youville, especially during her last year. Our family would like to thank the nursing staff who cared for her. The care and compassion she received from everyone on Unit D was exceptional beyond words. She loved them all and they loved her back and it showed. They all ensured that she looked her very best until the very end. We will miss our Sunday visits with all of you. Love you lots Mom, Memère, Grand-memère. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29 at the Sainte-Anne Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice. DESJARDINS 204-233-4949 1-888-233-4949 www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca
