Uncle Paul was one of the kindest, gentlest and most empathetic men I have known. His family meant everything to him and he was always the first to arrive and last to leave a good card game especially if it included a good slice of homemade pie! I have many memories of countless wonderful times our large family was together, starting years back at Granny's when I recall Uncle Paul wandering up and down the rows of her massive garden serenading us with his mandolin as we reaped it's harvest. He was always quick with a usually funny joke, a big smile and was an endless support to anyone in need. He and Aunt Martha were beyond helpful to my father over the years, for which I will always be grateful. Today there is another angel watching over us and when we see a star twinkling extra brightly tonight, we'll know who is pulling out a shiny new cribbage board... - Posted by: Janice Kran (Niece) on: Apr 30, 2016
