RICHARD JOHN CHORNENKI Richard, loving father and husband, loyal friend and employee, and all around classy guy has passed away in peace at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his wife Mariann in 2008 and is survived by his children, Adam (Rhonda), Alana, and Michael; and his grandchildren, Tyrone, Dezarae and Delilah. Born and raised in the North End of Winnipeg, Richard took pride in his 47 year long career with Canada Safeway. It was at work where he met Mariann and they were married in 1967. Together they raised a family and built a cabin at Grand Beach. Sixth Ave. Happy Hour with Richard will be missed. As per Richard's wishes no service will be held. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Richard's memory to the Manitoba Children's Museum, Kinsmen Bldg, 45 Forks Market Rd, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4T6. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111

Going to miss our dear friend and his bi weekly visits. Sometimes it was for a shot of rye, and later on , just a diet pepsi. Will miss his caustic sense of humour , and our great belly laughs .
