Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERNA PHYLLIS VAILLANCOURT (nee FORBISTER) July 3, 1926 - April 26, 2016 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Verna on April 26, 2016 at Red River Place. We thank all the staff for their loving care and concern during her tenure there. She was predeceased by her parents Francis Victor Forbister in 1958 and Lily in 1996, and her sisters Rita Staples in 2001 and Evelyn Radford in 2014. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Carole Forbister; six grandchildren and their spouses, and 12 great-grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment will follow at a later date. If friends and family so desire a donation can be made "in trust" to the Rotary Club of Selkirk, Box 182, Selkirk, MB R1A 2B2.
