Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDINA HELLER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Oma, Aunt and friend. Dina passed away on Thursday April 28, 2016. She is survived by her children and their spouses, her precious grandchildren, her brother, and nieces and nephews here in Canada, Holland and Germany. She has one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law surviving her in Germany. She was predeceased by her husband Alfons in 1992, all her siblings and their spouses in Holland and most of Alfons' family in Germany. She also has lost nieces and nephews here, in Holland and Germany. Dina was born in Eibergen, Holland on July 16, 1930. She immigrated to Canada in 1956 and married Alfons in 1958. They purchased land and established a successful dairy farm west of Woodlands. It is here that all the children were born. In 1976, they moved to Warren to grain farm. Dina lived on the farm site until 2006 when she moved to Stonewall. She loved people, flowers, chocolate and Delft Blue ornaments. She was very health conscious; she would still walk a couple of miles every day and do some form of exercise daily. We are shocked she is gone. She will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, please plant flowers in her memory or give to a friend. If you so desire, please donate to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Firefighters Burn Fund, the Church of Annunciation Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice. The funeral will take place at the Catholic Church of Annunciation in Woodlands Manitoba on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment after mass in the church cemetery. Everyone is welcome to join us at a luncheon which will follow at the Woodlands Community Hall. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall 204-467-2525 info@mackenziefh.com

Tanta Dina was an amazing lady! I cherish many happy childhood memories that I was blessed to have while hanging out on the farm with her and my awesome cousins. Although the visits lessen as we all grow and get busy with our lives, Tanta Dina always had a way of stopping time and having me reflecting on all the important things life has to offer. We were all very blessed to have had her in our lives! Rest in peace my beautiful Aunt, I know you are smiling down on us, God Bless! - Posted by: Maryann Ribbers (Niece) on: May 03, 2016
