Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD FREDERICK SCHWARTZ July 4, 1932 October 9, 2015 Peacefully on October 9, 2015 at Concordia Hospital, Ron Schwartz, beloved husband of Shirley, passed away at the age of 83. Wonderful father to son Grant (Linda) of Selwyn, Ontario, Laura (Vince) and Debbie (Bobby) all of New Mexico. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Ontario. Ron retired from the City of Winnipeg after 33 years. Ron was a very talented artist and had a passion for woodworking. Ron will be sadly missed by his wife and children. We love you, rest in peace. Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB. Interment and reception to follow. Ron started out as my friend Debbie's dad, but turned into a life long friend. I will always treasure my countless visits to Ron and Shirley's home in East St. Paul where he'd come running out the door before I could even place my car in park and open my door! Ron had a great sense of humor, a generous heart and a smile permanently affixed on his face. He was a proud and loving Dad, a great friend and a devoted and caring husband to his much adored Shirley.
