Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

It is with great sadness that I write this. Over the past decades Bob and I have had many discussions: heated and otherwise; many life altering (our opinion only); and definitely humorous --> the laughs were long and loud. I recall one instance when we were flying back from "somewhere" into Edmonton City Centre, with Bob as the pilot - in the fog. I am not a nervous flier but I admit to some anxiety that night. Bob turned to me and said "can you see the airport? I can't see a darned thing and I know we have to start out descent soon". Then he laughed. Tension was broken & we landed safely, with much laughter (a great memory). A friend once told me "the reason we have memories is so we can smell the roses in January". I have great memories of Bob; too many to recount here but which I will cherish forever. Thanks for the memories, Bob. - Posted by: Allen Snart (Business colleague and friend) on: May 10, 2016
