DARCEE LYNN GOSSELIN January 24, 1976 - May 5, 2016 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our daughter Darcee Lynn Gosselin on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the age of 40. Darcee is survived by her parents Perry and Vicki, sister Erin (Brent), brother Kelly (Lana), niece Katey, and nephews Noah and Jayden; also grandmother Doris Cranston, and grandparents Rennie and Ileene Gosselin, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Darcee was a kind, caring person who could light up a room with her smile. Her passion was teaching and she was devoted to her students. Darcee was the best auntie ever to her little monkeys! A come and go celebration of her life will be held at KW Community Centre, 165 Sansome Ave., Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children's Hospital. • Dear Perry, Vicki & family. We just received back a condolence card we had sent in the mail, apparently with your old address. We just wanted to pass on our greatest sympathies to your family. Darcee was a beautiful person. We remember her as a cheerful young lady who was an honest, hard worker when she worked with us at the lodge for her summer job. You, as parents, did a great job in raising your family. We, as parents, we can't imagine the pain you are suffering in losing a daughter so soon. We are thinking of you.... your old Ontario friends, Bob & Gale. - Posted by: Bob & Gale Extence (Old Friends) on: Jul 18, 2016

  • Ms.Gosselin was an amazing teacher. She taught me biology years ago (I graduated in 2007) and she was one of my favourite teachers. She cared so deeply about all her students, was always willing to help you out if you didn't understand something in her class or even if you had a personal problem she was always willing to lend an ear. It saddens me that such an amazing woman was taken from this world too soon. I send my deepest condolences to her family, friends and fellow students. She will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Monique Letourneau (Former student) on: May 10, 2016

  • I am so saddened to hear of Darcee's passing. I cleaned her room at John Taylor for about three years and had many conversations with her. She was always very kind to me. She was so involved with the school in numerous activities and that will be a hard void to fill. My thoughts are with Darcees entire family, friends and staff and students of John Taylor. - Posted by: Deb Hunter () on: May 10, 2016
