RYLAN ERICH LAUDIN
Date of Passing: May 07, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRYLAN ERICH LAUDIN It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rylan Erich Laudin, on Saturday, May 7, 2016 age 23. Rylan leaves to mourn his parents David and Charlene Laudin, brothers Calder and Haden, his best friend and great love Tina Schweizer and her father Hermann. Grandparents Ken and Carole Young, Grandmother Jeanne Laudin, and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his Grandfather Alfons Laudin. Rylan was born December 7, 1992 and grew up on the family farm by Brunkild and always worked with his Dad on the farm. Rylan graduated with a dual diploma from Sanford Collegiate and Winnipeg South Technical College in Welding. He began farming a one-quarter section, and worked winters at Brett Young Seeds and Penner Oil. He travelled to Australia on the Ag Venture Exchange Program where he worked on a large multi-family farm, coming back in time for seeding at home. Rylan attended the University of Manitoba for two years and completed his Diploma in Agriculture and was chosen by his classmates as Valedictorian. Rylan was a farmer and a friend. He had great passion for both and was keenly aware of his role as a young spokesperson for the Ag industry. He embraced the knowledge, technology and tools that could make the farm better. He embraced his family and friends with that same enthusiasm and never met a stranger, always left a friend. His family was blessed with this happy soul for 23 years. His genuine joy and ringing laughter will be our great loss. A Celebration of Rylan's life will be held on Tuesday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Grant Memorial Church on 877 Wilkes Ave. In lieu of flowers if you so wish, donations in Rylan's memory may be made to Rylan Laudin Memorial Scholarship at the University of Manitoba. Gifts may be made online at: umanitoba.ca/giving or sent to the following address: Alumni and Donor Relations, 200-137 Innovation Drive, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 6B6. There are no words to express our sadness for the family and loved ones. We can't even begin to imagine how hard this must be for everyone involved. Know that we share in your sadness in this great loss and send our deepest condolences. A heartbreaking tragedy. Dean only met Rylan a few times at Northfield Farm functions, but realized what a kind, gentle soft spoken fellow he was. We always noticed how Tina beamed when she was with him, so we share in your sorrow and pray for your much needed strength to endure. - Posted by: Dean and Brenda Fetterly (Farrier at Northfield Farms - friend of Herman and Tina) on: May 23, 2016

Dear Charlene and David. We are very sad for your great loss. There are no words that describe such a sad loss, he had so much to live for. When a child dies, it changes your life forever. There will always be happy memories to share. Our family, specially Deborah Derksen Thiessen and Darren Thiessen shared many times with your scouting groups at the CJ camps and with your father Ken. The scouting movement is a better place having had Rylan and your families involved. We will hold your family in our prayers. - Posted by: Mary & Ben Thiessen & Family (Friends of Ken & Carol Young and also members of the Scouting movement.) on: May 16, 2016
