Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTINE MARAND (nee PROCYSHYN) Christine Marand, 89 years, of Winnipeg, MB, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 10, 2016 at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Paul, of 49 years, her daughter Deborah Yetman, and son-in-law Rocco Bueti. She is survived by two children and five grandchildren: daughter Gail Bueti, her two children Paul (Franca) and Cristina (Matt); son Dennis (Erika) Marand, their two daughters Kristin (Mike) and Nicole (Chris); and grandson Jesse Yetman. She is also survived by three siblings: Nell Dolyniuk of Fort Francis, Harry, and Ben (Theresa) of Winnipeg, sister-in-law Eileen, brother-in-law Paul Dowhan, as well as many nieces and nephews. Christine was born to William and Dora Procyshyn on August 12, 1926 and was raised on the family farm in Chatfield, MB. She was one of nine children and grew up sharing the workload of farm life. She met and married Paul while working in Winnipeg and together they raised their family in the home they built in West Kildonan. After her children grew up, she started a career as a health care assistant at Middlechurch Home. Christine loved to cook and bake and anyone who visited her home could never leave without having enjoyed some of her home cooking. The family would like to thank the staff and friends at Middlechurch Home for their kind, wonderful care while she was there. Prayer services will be said Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Ave. Interment and reception will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenedenmemorial.ca Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
