RONALD LORNE FLOYD June 7, 1969 May 19, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Lorne Floyd on May 19, 2016; loving son to Lorne and Lorna, devoted brother to Stewart and Charla, and wonderful uncle to Braeden, Kylie and Kalan, Ron is predeceased by his grandparents; Alfred and Beatrice Martin and Harry and Thruda Floyd. Ron was born and raised in Vidir, Manitoba and has been a farmer his entire life, even before he started walking! His life may have been short but he tried and accomplished many things including running a trucking company, working on a harvest crew from Colorado to Montana, spending winter months in the bright lights of Las Vegas, and playing the stock markets. Ron enjoyed curling, Nascar Sundays, cruising around with friends, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He especially loved quad rides in the evening and weekends with his niece and nephews. Ron was a big guy with an even bigger heart. You always knew when Ronnie was in the room because of his wonderful laugh and great sense of humour. He was a kind, caring, generous man with such a jolly personality. Even in his last days, Ron remained in such wonderful spirit. Ron was one of a kind and will be missed by many. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal! But Love leaves a memory no one can steal!" Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Arborg Community Hall In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ardal - Geysir Lutheran Church.
