JEAN (BETTY) BELL (nee WOOLLEY) February 25, 1925 - May 19, 2016 After a lengthy illness, our mom, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away with her family by her side on May 19, 2016. She is survived by her children, Beverly Crone (Lawrence) and John Bell (Joyce); grandchildren, Cherie Hennessey (Sean), Pamela Landgraff (Wayne), Tyler Bell and Brodie Bell; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Hennessey and Ava Landgraff. She is predeceased by her husband John Bell; her parents, Frank and Sarah Woolley; and her sisters, Florence Dalrymple and Doris Davies. Jean was born and raised in Liverpool, England. She met her husband, John Bell, during the Second World War and moved to Canada in 1945 where she has lived since. Jean always called England her home. Jean kept up many British customs including her love for the Royal Family. Jean loved spending time with her family and friends and prior to her illness, loved golfing, cooking, shopping, and taking trips. She also loved animals; particularly dogs. The Family extends a sincere thank you to all the staff in the NIN unit at Concordia Hospital and to all the WRHA home care staff/coordinators who have looked after Jean through the years. Your care and comfort shown to our mother is greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service has been arranged for Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Avenue.
