Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNETTE SOWREY Peacefully, on May 25, 2016, at the age of 91, Annette Sowrey (née Lesage) left this world to join her husband Glen and son Brett. Born August 28, 1924 and raised in Somerset, MB, she will be deeply missed by sons, Larry and Wayne, as well as many relatives and friends. She will be remembered by many for her kindness, generosity, her strong faith in God and wonderful sense of humour. A celebration of her life will take place at Provencher Community Church, 230 Provencher Blvd., on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. Many thanks to staff and volunteers at Actionmarguerite, 185 rue Despins, for their excellent care. My family lived next door to the Sowrey family on Thomas Berry St. many years ago. My Mother, Irene Finlayson and Annette were very close friends, a friendship that continued until my Mother died five years ago. Surely they are having tea in heaven now! I knew Annette through all three of her sons, Brett, Larry and Wayne. Annette never ceased to amaze me and I was always willing to do whatever I could for her. She was a joy to be around and had a wonderful sense of humour. Her love an support for her sons and indeed everyone around her. My deepest condolences to everyone in your time of grief. Annette and I worked on the Organizing Committee of the Lesage Family Reunion a number of years ago. I enjoyed working with her. She was dedicated and certainly proud of her ancestry. May she rest in peace.
