Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT THOMAS EWACH September 20, 1938 May 26, 2016 With love and sadness, the family of Robert Thomas Ewach announces his peaceful passing at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg. Bob leaves to mourn his loving wife, Heather Ewach (nee Hardy) after 48 years of marriage; a sister, Lila Mitchell and a nephew, Larry Mitchell. Bob was predeceased by his father, Honore Ewach and his mother, Viola Blanche Ewach (nee Hofmann). Having graduated from St. James Collegiate, Bob attained a senior rank with the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba, retiring after 38 and one half years of faithful service, July 31, 1995. He was a devoted husband to Heather; and they loved their several cats over the years. His faith in God and resurrection kept his interest in the world today and tomorrow never weekend. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 7th, 2016 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue at 2:00 PM with Reverend Peter Bush from Westwood Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Many thanks to all the staff at Grace Hospital for their devotion to the comfort of Bob on his last days. Flowers gratefully declined. Bob Ewach will be long remembered as a devout Christian and loving husband who was completely dedicated to caring for Heather during a very long marriage.
