Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • To Mae’s Brothers & Sisters, Raymond, Denise and families. Words alone cannot express our deepfelt grief over the loss of dear sweet Mae. We were close neighbors for years in Gypsumville. Mae was like a mother to me and grandmother to my three children. She and I spent many happy hours together sipping tea, visiting, exchanging recipes “which I still prepare these dishes to this day) and talking about fashion and our clothing outfits as well as how to launder everything. Mae was a person with a wealth of knowledge, compassion and understanding – a true confidant and valued friend. She had a huge presence in my children’s lives and they loved her dearly as she took interest in them and always attended birthday parties and never forgot them on special occasions such as Easter, Halloween (making sure they got the full size O’Henry bar vs. the treat size) and Christmas, even though she had enough to do keeping up with her own relatives. Walter and Mae were our neighbors for 18 years, watching our family grow and going through all the milestones. We have so many wonderful memories and will always smile when we think of all the happy times. Our hearts are heavy with sadness and we can only hope it will help to lighten your grief to know others share in your burden. - Posted by: Evelyn & Charlie Kitchur, Meagan Dempster, (Andrew, London, Jayden, & Adelynne), Caitlin & Dylan Kit (Family Friends) on: Jun 10, 2016
