He will be missed by his family and friends in Canada, Croatia, Hercegovina, and Australia. He came to Canada in 1968. He was a cabinet maker, and owned and operated Unicity Cabinet Factory for many years. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing at 9:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Tavelich Church, 2688 Main Street with interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ferdo's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
