Tom was good friend of mine. I entered Canada in February, 1988 as a government sponsored refugee. He was my next door neighbor in our Winnipeg apartment. Once he learned about my status, he invited me for a cup of coffee and that is how we became friends. We used to go to the nearby park along Red River for long walks. When I left Winnipeg, we kept in touch by exchanging Christmas cards. I remember Tom with fondness. - Posted by: Faramarz Amjadi (Friend) on: Feb 26, 2019

Thanks, Tom, for the many hours spent with you and the late Fr. George Svoboda and especially for the meticulous and expert work you did in setting up his gyrocopter with floats to be flight-worthy. Your contributions as an Air Traffic Controller and personal influence in my life are highly esteemed and go with me as a fond memory of the integrity and leadership you exemplified throughout your life. You will be seriously missed and I long to see you again in our life hereafter. - Posted by: Ben Hoeppner (Friend) on: Jun 09, 2016
