WALLY SAGER (nee DYCK) Peacefully on June 4, following a period of days with her son Peter, "niece" Dietlinde, family, and friends at her side, Wally Sager went to be with the LORD. She was preceded by her husband Rudolph Sager, mother Leontine, sister Christel and brother-in-law Otto Hueter of Germany. She leaves her son Klaus-Peter Ossenkopp (Margitta), grandchildren Karl-Ludwig Ossenkopp (April), Karin Ossenkopp-Macdonald (Colin), and two great-grandchildren, Kristjan and Jorja-Mae Ossenkopp to cherish her memory. Funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, Monday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wally's memory can be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Dr. Winnipeg, MB, R3T 5K9, or another appropriate charity of your choice. My husband and I had the privilege of being Wally's neighbour from 2008-2013. Wally always was the first on our street to have her snow shovelled in the winter and always had her flowers, vegetable garden, and yard so lovely in the summer months. Wally was such a generous person- always willing to share a recipe or bring over some delicious baked bread. She was always a caring and kind person. I enjoyed hearing her stories and hearing about her family who she loved dearly. Our condolences to the family, Wally was a remarkable lady and it was an honour to know her.
