LESLIE HOWARD CHAPMAN November 1, 1937 - June 7, 2016 Peacefully, at the Misericordia Health Centre. Leslie Howard Chapman passed away at age 78. Les was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Margaret Chapman. He will be greatly missed by Flora, his beloved wife of 31 years; brothers Jack and Robert (Enid); sister-in-law Benita de la Cruz (Rolando) and brother-in-law Marino (Amy) Catamisan; and nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, Calgary and the Philippines. Les was born in the Morse Place area of EK, and lived in the area all of his life. On leaving high school, he worked for the T. Eaton Co for about 13 years, and then joined Canada Post, where he retired after 27 years. Les loved to travel, visiting the Philippines with Flora many times. Les and Flora also traveled extensively throughout Canada and the US. Special thanks to the staff of the 5th floor of the Misericordia Health Care Centre for the excellent care Les received. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14 at Klassen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
