Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD ROSS PARK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Ross Park on June 11, 2016. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Sandra, his stepdaughter Kyla, his mother Jane (Jenny) Park, his mother-in-law Jeannette, his brothers Leonard (Millie), Edward, and Dean, his sister Wendy (Robert), his sisters-in-law Diane (Curtis), Donna (Terry) and Barbara (Gordon), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Edgar, his sister Linda, and his father-in-law George. Richard was born in Selkirk, Manitoba on April 4, 1967 and lived his entire life in Matlock, Manitoba. During his teen years he enjoyed playing tennis and being a DJ at community dances. Early in his career he enjoyed his work at the Pizza Place and throughout his career he proved to be a steady and dedicated employee. He was an essential part of all family gatherings and even when he couldn't attend he took part in preparation and planning. He had a very close and caring relationship with his sister Linda and devoted all of his time to her care prior to her passing in 2007. In 2009, he married his wife Sandra and enjoyed a supportive and loving relationship. Richard was a cherished and respected member of our family and we are all left wondering how we will carry on without him. He was never one to be the center of attention but he was always there with us and for us. Richard gave more to life than he ever asked for. A celebration of Richard's life will take place Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk MB. A private interment will take place at a later date. RICHARD ROSS PARK On Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Richard Park, aged 49 years of Matlock, MB, beloved husband of Sandra, passed away.
