Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Our heart felt condolences. - Posted by: Vivian and Gerry Cook () on: Jun 21, 2016

  • We were both saddened to hear that Uncle Nestor has passed away. He was the last of the five children of Wasyl and Christina. We always appreciated his genuiness of making you feel welcome. He was always laughing and joking at the annual Meleb picnics and seemed to always enjoy seeing everyone which usually led to a good chuckle...Unfortunately both Ray and I are still working outside the home and they don't give days unless it is immediate family. Therefore; we won't be able to be at the funeral. However; we did manage to go for a nice drive out to Arborg to visit on Saturday June 18th to be in support and to show our love by spending some time with Auntie Annie and some family and also presented the family with a beautiful array of roses, baby's breath and greenery in a vase. Our time with Auntie Annie was precious. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this time. Uncle Nestor will be missed...RIP Uncle Nestor... • We are both saddened to hear that Uncle Nestor has passed away. He was the last of the five children of Wasyl and Christina. We always appreciated his jovial and welcoming manner usually leading to a good chuckle about something! We have enjoyed several visits with Nestor and Anne over the years, always feeling very welcome. We are both on holiday visiting Karen (another niece) in Ontario and her husband Alan. We won't be able to be at the funeral as we get home Wednesday evening. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ann, Dennis, Donna, Sally, Ronnie, and the extended family at this time. Although he was 90 and jokingly said to us at age 84 that he was "ready to go any time", his passing is a loss and the end of a piece of Rogowsky history. Love from Jeff and Judy Carter - Posted by: Jeff and Judy Carter (Judy is a niece, daughter of Nestor's sister Elsie) on: Jun 18, 2016
