INEZ MAE TATARYN (nee WILKINSON) 1961 - 2016 Peacefully and surrounded by family, friends, and laughter, Inez passed away June 17, 2016, after a lengthy illness. Inez was predeceased by her parents, Muriel and Stewart Wilkinson; in-laws, Louise and Walter Tataryn; aunt Betty O'Donnell; and brother-in-law Paul Tataryn. She leaves behind her loving husband of 37 years, Tom. She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters, Murray (Joan), Owen (Marilyn), Betty Anne (Ken), Daniel, Rita Marie (Herb), Neil (Kristen), and Eric (Jen). Also Tom's sisters and brother, Val (Doug), Margaret (Darwin), and Stan (Pattie); as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She will be sadly missed by her dear friends, Cindy, Brenda, Ian and so many others. Inez was born November 11, 1961, in Selkirk, MB. She was a Selkirk girl. She grew up in the Selkirk Barn, figure skating with her sisters, and watching her brothers play hockey. After completing her education in Selkirk, Inez trained to be a nurse's aide. She also worked for Bellvue Canada for many years before becoming the manager of LaserTek Video in Selkirk. She followed in her mother's footsteps, dedicating her time to the community by volunteering at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 42. For numerous years she was the coordinator and organized many Mug, Spud and Steak events and assisted with several other events. Inez had many passions: from watching curling, going fishing and camping, attending music festivals, baseball, completing her crosswords, gardening, and staying up all night making pickles. She had a love of dolphins and she spent many hours enjoying, feeding and watching her deer in their backyard. Inez, no matter how busy, always had time for others....no matter what! Thank you to Selkirk and District General Hospital staff for their compassion and care. Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in the basement of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 42, on Eveline Street in Selkirk, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Clements or St. George Wakefield Anglican Church. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
