I'm very sad to hear of Spence's passing and offer my sincere condolences to his family. I had the pleasure of working with Spence at Crown Lands and Property Agency. Spence possessed a positive outlook, friendly personality and was more than willing to share his time and his comprehensive knowledge of appraisal and negotiating arts. He became both a mentor and a friend. After he "retired" from his contract work with CLPA we would periodically meet for lunch. How I wish we could get together one more time! I appreciate all Spence did for me. He will be missed greatly. - Posted by: Ken Dzogan (Friend and co-worker) on: Jul 17, 2016

My wife and I offer our condolences to Spence's family. He was a very interesting, easy going person that I was honoured to count as one of my friends. "The song has ended, but the melody lingers on". Spence's melody will linger on through his art. He will be missed, but never forgotten. - Posted by: Cal Pishak (past co-worker) on: Jul 16, 2016

I have nothing but the FONDEST memories growing up in the cottage next door to Mr Allison. He taught my mom and my brother and I to paint rocks, and helped my mom create a stunning re-creation of "the Point" which is hanging in my livingroom. My mom passed away in September, and I know she is up there and they will both be watching over Ponemah, and Sandy bay areas. My condolences to the family, he was an amazing man!! :) - Posted by: Cheryl Gunn (Old Ponemah Neighbor on York ave) on: Jul 12, 2016
