KATHERINE (KAY) HOPE ONOFREYCHUK (nee HARDWICK) It is with great sadness that the family of Kay Onofreychuk announces her passing on June 19, 2016, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Left to mourn and cherish her memory are her loving husband Bruce; two daughters, Kerri (Travis) and Cindy (Jayme); and her treasured granddaughter Jade; mother Mulvina (Dolly); sisters, Darlene (Ian), Dena (Dale), Ingrid (Dan) and Marion; brother Bob (Wanda); mother-in-law Edith; brothers-in-law, Ron (Linda) and Greg (Norma), as well numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Bud; father-in-law Ross and brother-in-law Stoogie Laye. Kay loved to watch old classic movies, bake and eat potato chips (thus her nickname Dutch'). Kay's family was her world! The family would like to thank the staff at Betel Home in Selkirk and Gimli for their kindness and care. Also to doctors, R. Zoppa, of Selkirk and R.C. Patel, of Gimli. Respecting Kay's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Rest in peace my love. We will carry your memory in our hearts forever.
