Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I had the pleasure of working with Bruce for many years in the DeFehr Division at Palliser Furniture. I worked with him for certain projects and he was my direct supervisor for 3 years or so. Whenever he needed answers on Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access, I was his first line of defense. If I didn't know something, I wouldn't stop until I found an answer for him! I'm still in shock that he's gone...but I have my hope that I will see him when it's my time to go! We shared a similar sense of humor...and we seemed to feed off each other! I trust that God is continuing to be your source of strength and comfort, Alice and the MacDonald family! - Posted by: Gerry Teigrob (Co-worker) on: Nov 27, 2019

  • A good man and a good friend. While I'm sad to hear of his passing, I take comfort in knowing he went to be with the Lord. Thanks to the efforts of Bruce & Alice, I was able to come to know the Lord, and accept him into my life. For that they will have my eternal gratitude. My thoughts are prayers are with the family. - Posted by: Alexander Shorting (Friend) on: Jul 07, 2018

  • We have been neighbours to Bruce and Alice for over 30 years and our hearts go out to Alice and family for their loss. Bruce was a fine man and we spoke often. His wooden sculptures always garnered a lot of attention and Bruce reveled in the appreciation of them. A well-spoken and thoughtful man with many opinions about global affairs, Bruce was a citizen of the world. We'll miss him. - Posted by: Harry + Cindy Schulz (Neighbors) on: Jun 29, 2016

  • My thoughts and prayers are with you Alice and family. He was a good man and will be missed. We work together at Palliser and transition together when it changed over to Defehr. He was a great teacher and had a god since of humour. Again my thoughts are with you and your family - Posted by: Georgette Cure (co-worker) on: Jun 26, 2016
