Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCARLOS (CHARLY) MANZON RULE September 13, 1951 - July 2, 2016 On Saturday, July 2, 2016, Carlos "Charly" Manzon Rule, aged 64, peacefully passed away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by family. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of nearly 37 years, Linda Rule; children, Charlotte Rule (Danny), Charlene Rule, Joseph Rule (Anna) and Cathlynn Rule (Denny). He will be deeply missed by his two grandsons, Preston and Cassius James. Charly is survived by his sisters, Virginia Rule, Josefa (Nena) Ferreras, Aurea (Wilfredo) Salangad, Anita Hall, Lydia (Mauro) Manalad and many nieces, nephews, close family and friends. He is predeceased by his father Dionisio and mother Epifania, followed by his brothers, Manuel and Rading. Charly was born in Kamias, Quezon City, Philippines. He immigrated to Canada on October 5, 1974, and settled in Winnipeg, MB where he met his wife Linda and together they had four beautiful children and two grandsons. Charly took pride in his work so he could provide for his family. With his free time he enjoyed fishing. Our hearts will mourn the passing of Charly who was our husband, father, and grandpa. He will be missed but never forgotten. We will always love you. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Carlos "Charly" Manzon Rule. Lamay service will be held from 6:00 to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
