STEPHIE STETZ In sadness we announce the passing of Stephie Stetz on July 6, 2016 at the hospital in Arborg, Manitoba at the age of 93. She was born in Winnipeg to John and Anne Porubanec and was predeceased by her parents, first husband John Orobko , her second husband Tony Stetz, and five brothers and four sisters. She will sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law Jody and Don Stoyanowski, her granddaughter Kara, great-granddaughter Jadyn and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a great mother and grandmother. Extremely well-organized and efficient she enjoyed housekeeping, cooking, baking and hosting her family parties. She loved playing cards, doing crosswords, and bingo was her favorite. Everyone loved her for her comical and feisty nature. The family would like to thank the staff and Drs. Siddiqui and Donnelly at Arborg and District Health Centre and all the staff at the personal care home for all the loving compassionate care they gave her. A funeral service will be held at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Arborg on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with interment at the Ledwyn cemetery and a lunch to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion.
