JOAN NIXON In loving memory of Joan Nixon whom on July 5, 2016 passed away after her battle with a lengthy illness. Joan is now resting in peace with her loving husband Aubrey Nixon who passed away in 1993. Joan is survived by daughter Lori Swane (Randy), son Allan Nixon (Gloria), granddaughters Kristin Valcourt (Curtis), Erika Harrison (Greg) and Gina Nixon. Joan was a strong, caring and supportive mother and grandmother who always put others before herself and loved her family very much. She will be put to rest with a small family service. We would like to thank the staff of the Simkin center for their comfort and care over the past few months. You will be missed but will be forever in our hearts.
