DAVID ARTHUR FERGUSON Beloved husband of Ruth Alice Ferguson, David passed away peacefully on July 2, 2016 at Deer Lodge Hospital. Art and Ruth shared a devoted marriage to each other and loved each other very much. They especially enjoyed the outdoors and spent many vacations travelling from coast to coast in Canada, the United States and a special trip to Britain. Their commitment and love for each other was a rare and special kind. Art will be deeply missed by Ruth. Art is survived by his children, Carol, Mark and Valerie and his grandchildren Hunter, Jonathan, Mark Jr., and Sarah. Additionally, he is also survived by his sister Gladys, and several nieces and nephews. Art will be dearly and fondly remembered for his warm heart, his smile, his laughter, and his really bad jokes. He bravely served his country during the Second World War and was a strong nationalist - his stories of his time during the war never failed to amaze and astound his friends and family. He was also deeply devoted to his belief in Christ and lived a life that reflected his strong ethos of love, forgiveness, and acceptance of everyone - he also believed that God doesn't make any extras... we are all here for a purpose. He will be deeply missed by all his family, friends and Church of the Way community who have shown so much love and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Deer Lodge Hospital in honour of the wonderful staff who took excellent care of him for the last several years. A memorial service is being planned for later this year to celebrate Art's life. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 204-885-9715
