Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I spent my summers at the cottage across the street from Gord and Cec. Gord actually gave me my first unofficial job; grabbing his newspaper for 25 cents a day. I have to add that he was always a generous tipper! And not to forget, Gord and Cec's annual Christmas parties where Cec always prepared the most irresistible baked goods! Gord's physical presence will surely be missed around Plage Albert, but his memory will always be cherished in our hearts. - Posted by: Nicole LeGras (Neighbor) on: Jul 30, 2016

  • Our condolences to Cec and family. Gord has been our lake neighbour for the past 10 years and was always so kind and generous. He always kept an eye on Lance when out there on his own doing work on the cabin. He always had the best advice when we needed it! He is such an important part of the community, and we will miss him so much. - Posted by: Lance & Kelly Henderson (Lake neighbours) on: Jul 15, 2016

  • Cec and family Always enjoyed our times together at the lake and every Christmas get together. The laughs, the stories and his big kind heart. He always made time for everyone. Can't forget our annual Grey Cup parties. He'll always have a square on the board. A huge loss for our family. Ron and Ronna - Posted by: Ron and Ronna (Friends) on: Jul 15, 2016

  • What a great loss to our community! Gord worked hard for Victoria Beach and was visible and very approachable as a councilor. Our sympathy to his wonderful wife Cec and the Ross family. - Posted by: Deirdre & Hub (victoria beach residents) on: Jul 14, 2016
