Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN ROSS WILLERTON Peacefully on July 12, 2016, at the age of 89, Norman (Ross) Willerton went to be with his Lord and Saviour. Ross was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Ruby (née Irwin), son Kenny, and three sisters, Shirley, Fern and Eileen. Ross will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 67 years, Gladys (Bernice) (née Baldwin), his children: Cheryl (Adam) Smith, Dean (Denise), and Jeff; his grandchildren, Angela (Kevin) Wiebe, Andy (Andrea), Marc (Charlene), Jessie, Martina, and Ashley Smith; and his great-grandchildren, Isaac, Austin, Lucas Wiebe; Seth, Owen, Katie; Oliver, Elliot; Ethan, Dennis, Emma, Noah, Eli, Nehemiah Smith. Ross is also survived by one brother Bert (Anne), two sisters-in-law, Doreen Thompson, and Marge Hicks, and one brother-in-law Glenn Baldwin. There are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ross was born on June 13, 1927 in Neepawa, MB. Ross and Bea were married on July 28, 1950 in Winnipeg, MB and took at train ride to Ingolf, ON where they enjoyed their honeymoon. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home, 3rd Floor. Your care and kindness for Dad is so appreciated. Thank you! The family would also like to thank Friends Funeral Service for their thoughtfulness during a very difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of N.R. Willerton to Crisis Pregnancy Centre, 650 Broadway Ave. West, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0X3. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Fire Hall No. 8, 325 Talbot Avenue. Numbers 6:24-26 "The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.

Ross & his family moved in two doors from us on Whytewold Rd. when I was about ten years old. Approximately 10 years latter Ross was instrumental in getting me a position at Air Canada where I remained for the next 33 years. I will always be eternally great-full to Ross.
