Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID GEORGE REBIZANT It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved David at his residence at the age of 74 years. David has gone to be with his loving wife Patricia who passed away in November of 2015. David leaves to mourn his children, Richard and Michelle (Harvey), as well as his precious grandchildren, Kameron and Kimberli. Also left behind are brothers, Joseph (Lulu) and Russell (Lorraine); brother-in-law Jim (Chris), sister-in-law Maureen (Reg), as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Patricia, he was predeceased by his parents George and Kathleen, and his sister-in-law Shirley. Born on April 3, 1942 in Selkirk, David began his employment at A&W in Lockport, followed by Manitoba Rolling Mills. He switched careers and became a barber in Selkirk; finally becoming a proud owner of the A&W Restaurants in Dauphin alongside Pat, right up until their retirement. David loved the great outdoors as an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved the family cabin at Singush Lake, spending many happy times entertaining family and friends. His other interests included reading and travel with Pat, taking them to many places such as the Caribbean, U.S., eastern coast of Canada, British Columbia, and Australia. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Selkirk, Manitoba with Father Peter Chorney officiating.
