Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARLENE MAE FUNK (nee JONSSON) Passed away at the Glenboro Health Centre on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the age of 76 years, Marlene Mae Funk (nee Jonsson), of Glenboro, MB. Marlene leaves to mourn her passing her sons Darcy (Barbara) of Winnipeg, Michael (Loretta) of Rolla, BC, and Danny of Vancouver, BC, stepson Lloyd (Brenda) of Winnipeg, 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, sister Delphine Tablotney of Vancouver, BC, brothers Claire and Theodore (Marion) Jonsson, and nieces Louise (Brian) Laing and Audrey (Butch) Twerdun. Marlene was predeceased by her husband John (1987), son Darrell (1985), stepdaughter Sherry (George) Ducharme, grandson Trevor, parents Bjorn and Clara Jonsson, sister-in-law Marjorie Jonsson, and brother-in-law Rick Tablotney. Visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Willmor Chapel, Glenboro, MB. Following the service an interment will take place at the Bru Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Glenboro CE Building. Everyone is welcome. Memorial donations can be made in Marlene's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415 - 1st, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2W8.
